The leader of the Japan First Party, Makoto Sakurai’s Twitter account “@Doronpa01” had been deactivated on 7 Nov. 2017.
According to him, Twitter, Inc. did not mention any concrete reasons for deactivating his account in an email it sent him.
It will not have a will to protect freedom of speech.
I am very disappointed.
1. European migrant crisis
Makoto Sakurai’s speech in the Tokyo gubernatorial election in front of the Omori Station East Exit (21 July 2016)
2. Excessive welfare services for the elderly
Makoto Sakurai’s speech in the Tokyo gubernatorial election in front of the Kinshicho Station South Exit (28 July 2016)
3. Prostitutes in the Japanese Military During the World War II: comfort women
Makoto Sakurai’s speech in the Tokyo gubernatorial election in front of the Sugamo Station Front Exit (29 July 2016)
Mr.Sakurai took up in this speech the problem of the Japan Teachers’ Union, too.
The problem of education will be a blind spot for many Japanese, but has serious implications for the politics.
He pointed out this problem and therefore he is excellent.
4. Realizing atomic armament in Japan (Mr. Okamura’s speech)
Mikio Okamura’s speech in Nagasaki (9 Aug 2017)
I am Mitsuko Nakao.
I translate speeches, for instance, speeches of Makoto Sakurai, the leader of the Japan First Party, from Japanese into English.
He made many speeches in the Tokyo gubernatorial election in 2016.
They are all excellent ones, which capture the essence of problems Japan has.
I decided to translate them into English and put it on a new web site of mine “Speech Collection English Translation”.
If you accessed this, I would be glad.
